Essie: Case Study

Name: Case Study

Collection: Essie’s Fall 2011 Book Bag

Colour: Taupe/ Camel

Coats: 1 coat

Pros: This was the first Essie polish that I have ever tried, and I must say I am very happy with it. It was so quick and easy to apply! Only one, fast drying coat left a smooth and polished finish. I was impressed with how long it lasted (4 days) with only one coat.

Cons: This is not a high shine polish and the colour is a neutral so it’s not the most exciting look. Additionally, it can look a little dull on some skin tones because of its green undertones.

  2. I love the coverage with this polish as I don't have much patience for the drying in-between coats.

  7. What a lovely taupe colour! 3 days with only 1 coat? pretty impressive. I usually wear 2 coats + top coat so it lasts :) xx

    1. Thanks Judy, this is my kind of polish, long wearing, one coat and quick drying. I hope to feature more Essie polishes to see if all there polishes are similar.

  29. What a lovely, creamy colour! I actually like the fact that it has no high shine polish! So your con is actually my pro :)
The colour suits your skin tone really well. With these colours it's kinda risky!
