Danke-Shiny Red

Name: Danke-Shiny Red

Collection: Germany 2012

Colour: Rich, Rosy Red with Frosty Finish

Coats: 2

Pros: I know it’s a bit early but this polish’s lovely, frosty red that is perfect for the upcoming holiday season. The deep red with rosy undertones makes your nails look like ripe berries on a holly branch. I had no problem applying this polish and any bits on the side came off without any hassle or staining. I chose to say two coats for this polish because although it comes out as a gorgeous pinky red after one coat, it barely lasted an hour before it chipped away.

Cons: Unfortunately, it’s really flakey at the tips.

Similar Shades: Danke-Shiny Red is very similar to “Cha-Ching Cherry” but has just a bit more red in it.

  1. I do need to wrap my tips very carefully using this to keep the chip issue down - I also check my nails carefully the first day (end of day) for any wear and I carefully take a Q-tip and polish the ends, wrapping the color around best I can (I have pretty short nails - a tish shorter than yours here are. When I do that and have put on 3 coats of this pretty shade I can get 3 - 4 days out of it - adding my SV top coat 2 times in that wear time helps. I also have used a silver art pen to do the tips in silver metallic polish and that helps protect the tips too. Silver glitter tips helps as well too.

  5. Pretty color but it is too bad about the formula. What happened there I wonder. The reason I like OPI is because they normall don't chip, so chipping kills my desire for this one. Thank you for this review.

  12. i am sorry for putting this message here like this. I am just here to share my experience and to help who might want this kind of help. I have been scammed by fake casters that promised me results and get my money trying all my means to save my marriage. i was so despirate to keep my family as my husband wants a divorce. i decided to go spiritual as all i tried was not working. i seek spiritual helps to get things right but all i talked with never did anything for me. I was taken advantage of and i lost all my saving on that. i talked talked to a friend that was able to make me meet the help i searched for. when he said he will help, i never believed but im more than greatful now for giving him my last shot. You can get this great one on samueldavid155@gmail.com never let it go too. its a good trial if you want to use him and he is the best to work with. my vote all to him.
